The Girondins de Bordeaux took on Stade de Reims on Sunday afternoon in their first match of the new Ligue 1 season. First-choice keeper Cédric Carrasso picked up an injury in the warm-up just before the game.
After limping off the pitch accompanied by the club's doctor and physio, Cédric came back and completed his warm-up, then played the full game against Reims.
Unfortunately, it now turns out that the keeper has sprained his right ankle.
Get well soon Cédric!!
