09 h 03 Sagnol - "Never let go"

Speaking in his post-match press conference, Willy Sagnol relished the victory over Lens and declared himself satisfied with the way his players performed under pressure.

"We had to fight hard for this victory. There were a lot of changes to the side, the central defenders weren't used to playing together. I'm proud of my team, they never gave up. We lacked pace in the first half, but we were much better after the break. The way the subs performed shows that we have strength in depth. Isaac Kiese Thelin put in a lot of work, he brings a lot to our team. In the end the result went our way. Next Sunday the oposition will be a bit different. But the players have demonstrated that they are listening to the coaches, we're all pulling in the same direction."
