Gaëtan Laborde scored first for Bordeaux
Girondins play well to hold Rubin Kazan
After going behind in the first half, the Girondins took this game by the scruff of the neck after the break. Gaëtan Laborde (58’) and Diego Rolan (63’) got the goals in Bordeaux's last European appearance of the season. Ustinov equalised late on, and Frédéric Guilbert picked up a red card (86’).
Enzo Crivelli working hard
Bordeaux dominate but lose to Liverpool
The Girondins were unable to get the better of Liverpool despite a spirited team performance. The first half saw all three goals scored in a matter of eight minutes! Bordeaux and Sion clash
Bordeaux put in a good effort, but concede in injury time
Bordeaux seemed to be on their way to victory thanks to a Thomas Touré goal in the 65th minute, but the final corner of the night saw Salatic snatch an equaliser in the 93rd minute. The Girondins were sorely disappointed after a spirited, united performance.
Bordeaux beaten
Bordeaux beaten by FC Sion
Sometimes in European football, you have evenings you'd rather forget. This was one of them. After going behind to a goal from Lacroix in the 22nd minute, the Girondins spent the rest of the match searching in vain for an equaliser. The red card shown to Wahbi Khazri at the end of the game changed nothing. The Girondins were beaten by a highly pragmatic Swiss side.
Jussiê got the qualiser in the 81st minute
Bordeaux hold Liverpool to a draw

Girondins lose but go through anyway
The Girondins travelled to face Kazakh side Kairat Almaty this afternoon for their final UEFA Europa League qualifier: a match which may well come to define the club's season. The game got off to a terrible start, with an own goal from Cédric Yambéré after just 40 seconds. The Girondins went through the whole spectrum of emotions in the second half: headed out after a goal from Kuat (65’), they ultimately snatched qualification thanks to a superb goal from Enzo Crivelli (76’).
Almaty - our final destination
The Girondins have never travelled so far
For the longest away trip in the club's history, the Girondins are en route for Almaty, the former Kazakh capital just a few hundred miles from the Chinese border.

Girondins come away from Lille with a point
For their third game of the Ligue 1 season, Bordeaux travelled to face LOSC at Stade Pierre-Mauroy. The Girondins were particularly hard-hit by injury: Contento has not recovered from the knock he sustained in Thursday's European match, while Diabaté, Sané, Sertic and keeper Carrasso were also on the injury list. After victory over Almaty just a few days ago, the Girondins travelled to the other end of France to face tough opposition.
