Girondins 3-2 winners after a crazy end to the game
For their 14th outing of the Ligue 1 season the Girondins de Bordeaux hosted Dijon FCO, hoping to rack up another home win. Bordeaux ended up 3-2 winners, snatching triumph from the jaws of defeat thanks to a last-minute brace from François Kamano!
Bordeaux took on Angers this evening in their 5th league outing of the season. Trailing 0-1 at half time to a goal from Karl Toko Ekambi (38'), Bordeaux were unable to fight their way back into the game in the second half.
The Girondins delivered a fine performance against PSG
Bordeaux faced Paris Saint-Germain this evening in their penultimate game of the season. The Girondins needed to get something from this tough match to move up into the top half of the Ligue 1 table. They gave as good as they got in the first half, with no goals scored. Ibrahimovic gave PSG the lead after the break (58’), but Bordeaux soon equalised with a superb volley from Nicolas Pallois (66’). A much-needed point for Bordeaux, ensuring that their final home game of the season ended on a positive note.
The Girondins de Bordeaux faced FC Lorient a week after their victory in Troyes, racking up a second consecutive victory. In control from start to finish, Ulrich Ramé's boys won by a decisive three goal margin. Cheick Diabaté scored twice (21', 48'), after Malcom put Bordeaux ahead early on (12').
After a promising first half, and a red card for Traoré which left Angers with 10 men, the Girondins slipped up and conceded three goals (61’, 64’, 88’). Rolan pulled one back, but the game was lost (70’).

Bordeaux were overwhelmed this evening by a strong Caen team. The visitors from Normandy clearly deserved their 4-1 victory. Patrice Garande's side took the lead early (6'), but otherwise the first half was fairly evenly-matched. The second half was a different story, as the Girondins conceded three (56', 61 & 77'). Enzo Crivelli got a consolate goal at the end (90'), but Bordeaux just didn't show up tonight.
The matches keep coming, and you never know what to expect next! The boys in blue bounced back admirably from their mid-week disaster with a solid home win over Lyon. Wahbi Khazri scored in the 17th minute, with Jaroslav Plasil later doubling the lead (40'). Seconds before half-time, Pablo scored his first goal for Bordeaux (45+2). 3-0 at the break. No coming back. Beauvue got a consolation goal late on, but the Girondins still cruised to victory in style.A much-needed boost ahead of a big week! Merci Bordeaux !
