Bordeaux return from Corsica with a much-needed point. Gaëtan Laborde equalised in the 78th minute, after Bifouma gave Bastia the lead early in the second half. Bastia had Florian Marange sent off late on. The Girondins fought hard to earn this draw in a tough away fixture.
Girondins 3-2 winners after a crazy end to the game
For their 14th outing of the Ligue 1 season the Girondins de Bordeaux hosted Dijon FCO, hoping to rack up another home win. Bordeaux ended up 3-2 winners, snatching triumph from the jaws of defeat thanks to a last-minute brace from François Kamano!
The Girondins return from Guingamp with one more point. After taking the lead courtesy of Igor Lewczuk (22'), Bordeaux held on until the very end. Almost. Briand equalised in the 93rd minute. Guingamp keeper Johansson stopped a late penalty from Jérémie Ménez (78').
The Girondins held old rivals to a draw, working hard to bring back a point from the legendary Stade Vélodrome. The atmosphere was electric, and both teams came very close to scoring. Another draw leaves Bordeaux in 9th place with 16 points, two points ahead of OM.
The Girondins return from their trip to Rennes with a hard-earned point. Bordeaux were pragmatic and focused against a tough Rennes side. Diego Contento scored an own goal just before the break (44'), and Nicolas Pallois equalised from a corner in the second half (66'). Rennes hit the crossbar twice late on.
For their 7th game of the Ligue 1 season, the Girondins de Bordeaux hosted SM Caen. Jocelyn Gourvennec was hoping to see his players continue their winning ways after their mid-week thrashing of Metz. But despite clearly dominating their opponents, Bordeaux were unable to break the deadlock and the game ended 0-0.
Emphatic! The boys in blue took Metz's Stade Saint-Symphorien by storm tonight (0-3). Malcom (37'), Gaëtan Laborde (71') and Isaac Kiese Thelin (76') got the goals, in a game which saw Bordeaux shine in defence and in attack. Bravo!
Bordeaux took on Angers this evening in their 5th league outing of the season. Trailing 0-1 at half time to a goal from Karl Toko Ekambi (38'), Bordeaux were unable to fight their way back into the game in the second half.
