Emphatic! The boys in blue took Metz's Stade Saint-Symphorien by storm tonight (0-3). Malcom (37'), Gaëtan Laborde (71') and Isaac Kiese Thelin (76') got the goals, in a game which saw Bordeaux shine in defence and in attack. Bravo!
The Girondins came away from Parc OL with a fantastic result, after a genuinely superb performance! Despite conceding in the first minute of the game, the Girondins kept their cool. Malcom (31') equalised, and Grégory Sertic put Bordeaux ahead (71'). In the dying seconds of the game, Jérémy Ménez put Lyon's comeback hopes to bed (90'). In fairness to Lyon, Gonalons got sent off (67') and Lacazette limped off injured with no substitutes left to replace him (87'). The Girondins became the first team to win at Parc OL this season, and moved (albeit briefly) to the top of the L1 table. Well played boys!
After a sometimes tense encounter, the Girondins de Bordeaux emerged 1-0 victors from the first Atlantic Derby of the season. Diego Rolan's first-half goal made the difference, and Nantes' late pressure was not enough to break the Bordeaux defence.
The boys in blue were keen to prove themselves against Lorient, in their penultimate pre-season friendly in Morbihan. Jocelyn Gourvennec's squad have been hard at work since the end of June, and have one more friendly to play before the season kicks off on Saturday 13th August at 17:00 against St-Etienne.

The Girondins de Bordeaux faced FC Lorient a week after their victory in Troyes, racking up a second consecutive victory. In control from start to finish, Ulrich Ramé's boys won by a decisive three goal margin. Cheick Diabaté scored twice (21', 48'), after Malcom put Bordeaux ahead early on (12').
For their 36th game of the Ligue 1 season, the Girondins de Bordeaux travelled to face already-relegated Troyes. In an entertaining game largely dominated by the Girondins, Diego Rolan scored twice (14’, 73’), Troyes scored an own goal (41’) and Cheick Diabaté cemented his position as the club's top scorer with his eighth of the season (60’).
